Before you knock on the door
Arrival notes
A short guide to the things guests usually ask about: times, children, payment and the house rules that shape a stay here.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in runs from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and check-out from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM. If your flight lands outside those hours, write to us beforehand: baggage storage covers the gap so you can leave your things and walk into town while the room is being prepared, and late arrivals can usually be arranged with notice.
Children, cribs and extra beds
Children of all ages are welcome in the house. Children aged four and above are charged as adults, and a crib can be requested for ages nought to three subject to availability. There are no extra beds, so a family of four normally books the triple room together with a second room rather than adding a bed to one.
Payment and local taxes
We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Cabal and cash at reception. A local Ecotax may apply for guests older than fourteen, collected during the stay according to the current municipal rate, so it is worth setting aside a small amount for it alongside your room rate.
House rules worth knowing
The inn does not allow pets, all rooms are non-smoking, and there is no parking on the property, which is why most guests arrive on foot, by taxi or by booked transfer. The house has no lake view, no pool, no spa and no elevator, and we prefer to say so clearly rather than let anyone discover it on arrival.
Languages at reception
Staff help in English, Spanish and Portuguese through the day, whether you need an excursion booked, a bus card explained, a table reserved at La Casita downstairs or a recommendation for something open late in the neighbourhood.
