Three room types, all cozy and comfortable

These are inn rooms rather than large luxury suites: warm, well kept and sized for sleeping well between days out in the mountains. Each one has heating, a private bathroom with shower, a work desk and free WiFi, and the housekeeping standard is the part guests mention most often in their reviews.

All rooms are non-smoking and none of them look over the lake, since the house sits inside the downtown grid rather than on the shoreline. What you gain instead is the ability to walk to the Civic Center, the restaurants and the bus stops in a few minutes.

Twin room with two single beds, timber panelling and red bedside lamps

Twin Room

Two separate single beds make this the room for friends travelling together, colleagues on a work trip, or anyone who simply sleeps better with their own space. The layout is straightforward: beds along the walls, a work desk under the window, a wardrobe for jackets and ski layers, and a private bathroom with a shower. Heating keeps the room comfortable through the cold months, and because the building is set in a quiet part of the downtown grid, nights stay calm even when the streets nearby are busy.

Double room with patterned bedding, timber panelling and red pendant lamps

Double Room

Our most-requested room has one double bed dressed in wool-warm bedding, with enough floor space for two suitcases and a pair of ski boots at the end of a long day outside. Couples tend to book it for three or four nights and use the room as a base rather than a place to sit, which suits the way the inn works: leave in the morning after breakfast, come back in the afternoon to warm up, and go downstairs for dinner without stepping outside again.

Triple room with three single beds, wood-panelled wall and warm lamps

Triple Room with three beds

Three beds in a single room make this a practical choice for families or small groups who prefer to stay together rather than split across floors. The same heating, desk, wardrobe and private bathroom apply here as in the other rooms. Two limits are worth knowing before booking: we cannot add extra beds beyond the three already in the room, and a crib can be requested for children aged nought to three subject to availability, while children aged four and above are charged as adults.

In every room

Every room, whatever its size, includes heating, cable television, a work desk, a private bathroom with shower, towels, toiletries, a hairdryer, linens, a wardrobe and an alarm clock. Free WiFi reaches the rooms and the common areas, which matters if you are checking mountain conditions in the morning or catching up on messages after a day outside.

Beyond the room itself, guests can use ski storage for equipment, baggage storage around check-in and check-out, and the tour desk for booking excursions. Room service brings meals from La Casita upstairs, and staff at reception can help in English, Spanish or Portuguese for anything from a taxi to a pharmacy recommendation.

Check dates for the room you want

Rooms fill quickly in ski season and over the summer holidays, and the twin and triple rooms are usually the first to go because there are only a few of each. Our booking page shows live availability for the exact dates you have in mind, along with rates and conditions, so you can compare room types before deciding.

Rates, availability and the full cancellation conditions are shown on our booking page, and reception answers questions by phone during the day if you would rather talk to a person before confirming your dates.
